King is a 13 year old thoroughbred gelding. He is an ex-race horse. Is NOT a kid's horse. Has lots of energy and very sweet. King has not been ridden in a little over 2 years. Gets along great with our other horses. At feeding time, King walks himself to his stall and patiently waits. Is great on lead. Loads and unloads perfectly. Allows the farrier to do his job with no problems. Easy to groom and doesn't seem to mind bath time. No bad temper every displayed. Never kicked or tried to bite.

King is a little on the thin side right now. We just moved to a new farm a few months ago. Took us a minute to find a new hay service, and they needed time to adapt to their new barn and field. But he is otherwise healthy, and we now have him on supplements to bring his weight back.

King needs a new forever home that can give him more attention to riding. Our kids are older now - moved out or at college.

September 2025 was last annual vaccinations. He has always been around the same horses since then and never exposed to other horses. Teeth floated 2 months ago. Hooves trimmed timely. Approximately 15 hands.
